How do presidential elections affect the stock market? With the U.S. presidential election just a few weeks out, coupled with the unprecedented media coverage this election has garnered, many people are questioning how the upcoming presidential election might affect their investment portfolios. They are also asking if they should be making some investment changes to perhaps protect their investments due to the somewhat antagonistic nature of this year’s presidential campaign. Video: Pokemon Go Madness: New App Sends Nintendo Shares Soaring

Nintendo hasn’t fully embraced the world of mobile gaming, but the early success of Pokemon Go is giving gamers and investors a taste of the rewards the Japanese gaming company may reap if it decides to go all in. 10 Qualities All Successful People Share (that have nothing to do with talent)
– reviewed by Jonathon Much Not too long ago, the serial innovator and entrepreneur Fouad ElNaggar [the co-founder and CEO of Sapho] posted an image recognizing, “10 Qualities All Successful People Share (That Have Nothing to Do With Talent)”. Did you know? US Fair Labor Standards Act On May 18th, a major change to the US Fair Labor Standards Act was announced which is expected to affect around 4.2 million workers nationwide. Until recently, many employers were exempt from paying most “white collar” employees overtime pay if their yearly salary exceeded $23,666. The Obama administration has stated that the Federal salary threshold will be drastically increased to $47,476 and will continue to increase every 3 years with future inflation taken into account. • Increase salaries to exceed the new threshold.
• Limit work hours to 40 hours per week.
• Leave salaries the …
